If you are like most people, you are just starting to think of the things that you need to bring to Havasupai and your leaving next week. Here are some tips for those of you who find yourselves in this situation along with some other tips for packing etc..

Make sure you print the what to pack page and start packing your pack.

As you pack, keep in mind the details of YOUR trip. For example, if you are only staying one night, you won't need to being very much stuff even thought he what to pack page says to bring it.

Do NOT forget that there are NO FIRES in Havasupai. Bring food you do not have to cook.

You have to pack everything that you bring 10 miles. Most of that stuff (minus food) you have to pack out. Be smart about what you bring.

Start training your body for the hike in the heat right NOW.

If you are fickle about food, then start eating some of the types of foods you are going to bring to Havasupai to get accustomed to it somewhat.

You might need to think about the lack of sleep a little bit and prepare for that. Don't show up to your Havasupai vacation really tired.

If you don't have a backpack, hiking shoes, water shoes, camelbak, etc. get it now. Quit procrastinating.

Last of all, if you aren't planning on coming, back out now. If you are coming, get excited, this is going to be sweet!

You must bring CASH to pay for your camping fees.
