Description of Beaver Falls

Beaver Falls is the furthest waterfall geographically from the campground. However, the amazing hike along the way is worth the trip. The hike to Beaver Falls starts from the campground is about 4 miles.

Beaver Falls is a series of cascades at the conflux of Beaver and Havasu Canyons. Beaver Fall's cascading falls making for a fun place to play and jump around. Approximate waterfall height at Beaver Falls itself is around 60 feet. However, below the main falls at Beaver there is a great cliff jump (the most popular in the canyon) that tops out at about 70 feet.

Extra Details and Tips

  • Hiking time from the campground: 3.5 miles / 3.5 hours.
  • Bring plenty of liquid (Gatorade or a liter of drinking water). It is a long hike and it will be very hot in the summer.
  • Bring food and snacks for a good length hike.
  • Bring good shoes for hiking down to Beaver falls. Do not wear your flip flops.
